Air Force shows air defense downing Russian Shahed drones in southern Ukraine
The Ukrainian Air Force has published a video showing the downing of a Shahed kamikaze drone used by Russia to attack Odesa Oblast, Commander of the Air Force of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk wrote on Telegram on March 17.
"Southern front. Every night," Oleshchuk commented on the work of Ukrainian air defense.
On March 17, the Russians launched 16 kamikaze drones into Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 14 drones in Odesa Oblast.
As a result of the night attack, two decommissioned agricultural enterprises were damaged. Fires broke out and industrial buildings were destroyed.
On March 15, Russia launched a missile attack on Odesa. Two explosions killed 21 people, including a medic and two rescuers who came to help after the first explosion.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
