Russia continues its advance towards Donbas from Izyum in Kharkiv Oblast

Russian forces near Kharkiv are continuing to advance from Izyum towards Barvinkove in Kharkiv Oblast and Slovyansk in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook post on May 2.
The enemy is relentlessly shelling and bombarding Ukraine’s defense positions in the area, the General Staff said.
The city of Kharkiv itself, along with the towns of Udy and Prudyanka, is under sustained Russian artillery fire, Ukraine’s military reported.
