Russia hits Sumy with three kamikaze drones overnight

Russia attacked the city of Sumy with three Iranian Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones overnight on July 20, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported on Telegram.

Russia attacked the city at about 1.30 a.m. Air defense forces shot down two drones. The third hit an after-school health facility, causing a fire, the officials said.

At the same time, the Interior Ministry clarified the Russians had damaged a children’s camp.

“The emergency crew provided the camp’s nurse with medical assistance at the scene,” the report says.

As of the morning, the fire has already been extinguished. No casualties have been reported.

Russia launched another massive strike on Ukraine overnight on July 20.

The southern regions were affected the most. The invaders attacked residential buildings in the city of Mykolayiv, resulting in 19 civilians being injured, including five children.

Several residential buildings were damaged and four civilians were injured in the city of Odesa.

In total, Russia launched 19 missiles and the same number of attack drones. Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted 18 enemy targets.
