Body of fifth victim found under rubble of high-rise in Odesa

The death toll from a Russian drone strike on a high-rise building in Odesa on March 2, has risen to five, the State Emergency Service reported on March 2.

Odesa and the entire Odesa Oblast went into mourning to honor the victims of the Russian attack last night, Kiper reported.

Earlier, Kiper reported that three of the victims had been identified. They are a woman born in 1952, a man born in 1988 and a child born in 2021.

In Odesa, during the attack on March 2, a Russian drone hit a nine-story building, destroying one of the entrances. So far, five people have been reported dead, including a child. Eight people were also injured.

According to the rescuers, another body was recovered at around 2:31 p.m. Oleh Kiper, the head of the Regional Military Administration, added that the body of an adult was unblocked.
