Russia shells Kharkiv residential districts with Grad rockets – local authorities
Russian invaders bombarded the centre of Kharkiv with Grad multiple rocket launcher systems, killing seven civilians and injuring 44, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko said on Feb. 28.
Video of the attack and its aftermath emerged from several sources. Ambulances are working at the scene of the attack.
Russian forces hit a residential area with rocket artillery, Gerashchenko confirmed in a report, and published video of the scenes after the attack on his Telegram page (WARNING: graphic footage).
On Klochkovska Street, a car was burnt out as a result of the shelling, killing everyone inside.
The advisor to the interior minister also published other clips showing the shelling of residential areas of the eastern Ukrainian city.
Shelling is ongoing of three neighborhoods in the city: Oleksiyivka, Saltivka, Pavlove Pole, which are home to over one million inhabitants. This information was provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Roman Semenukha, Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
