Russia should cease to exist within current borders, says NSDC secretary

Russia should cease to exist within its current borders, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said at the Kyiv Security Forum on Dec. 1.
“They must be destroyed so that they cease to exist as a country within the current borders,” he said.
“Today, Russia is one of the few countries that has colonies on its territory, which destroyed a huge number of peoples, their language, culture, and traditions,” Danilov said.
“They (the Russians) are simply barbarians. And when we are told that we should sit at the same table with these barbarians and talk about something, I find it unworthy of our people.”
Danilov also said it was shameful to encourage Ukrainians to compromise with the people who had killed their children and committed atrocities.
