Russia uses kamikaze drones in overnight attack — Kharkiv Oblast hit, drones from SE intercepted

A Russian drone strike targeted an infrastructure site in the village of Oleksandrivka, Kharkiv Oblast, regional governor Oleh Synehubov reported on Telegram on Nov. 24.

The Russians also shelled Kurylivka and Novosynove in the Kupyansk district, damaging five houses, a garage, and commercial buildings.

In Kozacha Lopan, four houses and economic buildings were damaged, though no casualties were reported.

Air raid alerts were announced in several Ukrainian oblasts on the evening of Nov. 23 due to missile and kamikaze drone threats. Air defense forces were active in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, responding to reported drone threats in Zhytomyr Oblast.

Russian invaders also launched an overnight attack on Ukraine using three Shahed drones from the southeast, all of which were successfully shot down, Ukraine’s Air Force reported on Telegram on Nov. 24.
