15 February 2024, 04:25 PM

Russian forces attacked Lviv with missiles, severely damaging several energy infrastructure facilities, including a transformer substation, on Feb. 15, the Ministry of Energy reported on their Telegram channel.

As a consequence, an infrastructure facility lost power.

The Ministry noted that the morning's large missile strike did not significantly disrupt the functioning of energy infrastructure.

Russian missile attack triggered air raid alerts across multiple Ukraine’s Oblasts on the night of Feb. 15. Explosions reverberated across Ukraine, from the eastern cities to Lviv in the west, air defense systems were engaged in Kyiv and the surrounding Kyiv Oblast.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
