Russian attack overturns minibus in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, injuring over 20 people
A Russian attack on the town of Novomoskovsk in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast caused an explosion that overturned a minibus, injuring 24 people, regional governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram on Jan. 8.
Five of the victims are children: boys aged 4 and 8, and girls aged 11, 16, and 17.
The attack also caused a fire to break out, but it has already been managed, Lysak said. In addition, three administrative buildings, two gas stations, a five-story building, and a car were damaged.
Russia launched a new wave of cruise missiles at Ukrainian cities from strategic bombers and Kinzhals from MiG31-Ks on the morning of Jan. 8. Overnight, the Russian military hit Kharkiv with S-300 missiles, and from the south, Russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones.
Industrial facilities and an educational building were damaged in Kharkiv, as well as a house in the town of Zmiyiv, injuring two.
Explosions were heard during an air raid alert in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhya, injuring four in Zaporizhzhya city.
