Russian attacks Kramatorsk with ballistic missile

The Russian military has struck Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, with an Iskander ballistic missile, killing one person and wounding two others, regional governor Vadym Filashkin reported via Facebook on Jan. 22.

Filashkin said those injured received the necessary medical care. He added that the attack damaged seven apartment buildings, three businesses, and three public buildings.

Earlier the same day, Russian forces shelled Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast, resulting in one death and another injury.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
