Over 150 Russian bombs dropped on Russian and occupied territories this year
Russian aerospace forces dropped at least 159 FAB aerial bombs on Russian and occupied territories in 2024, Astra Telegram channel reported on Dec. 1.
A 250-kilogram air bomb dropped by a Russian plane in the Belgorod Oblast's Kozatske village on Nov. 26 led to the evacuation of 100 people, though no injuries were reported.
Another two bombs fell in the region the same day, and authorities say no one was hurt. The bomb near a residential building did not explode.
In 2024, at least 159 FAB air bombs have reportedly fallen in Russia and occupied Ukraine, with the updates to Soviet-era bombs leading to frequent malfunctions, including failure to reach their targets.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
