Ukraine gives ‘fiery greeting’ to Russian command center in occupied southern Ukraine
A Russian command center in southern Ukraine received a “fiery greeting” from Ukrainian Armed Forces rocket launchers, reported the Southern Defense Forces on Aug. 27.
British intelligence had earlier indicated that Russia was setting up an additional formation in occupied southern Ukraine, namely in Kherson Oblast. This likely involves consolidating and reinforcing other units operating in the occupied part of the oblast.
Russia has lost approximately 260,820 military personnel, including 550 in the past 24 hours, as well as tens of thousands of pieces of equipment, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, reported the Ukrainian General Staff on August 27.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
