Waves of Russian drones target Kyiv and western Ukraine overnight
Power outages and water supply disruptions in the western Ukrainian administrative center of Ternopil were reported by regional governor Viacheslav Nehoda on Facebook on Nov. 26, following an overnight Russian drone attack.
“Efforts are underway to assess the extent of the damage and to eliminate the consequences,” he wrote shortly after midnight.
Later, public broadcaster Suspilne reported more explosions in the city.
On the same night, Ukrainian air defenses shot down about a dozen of Russian attack drones targeting Kyiv in waves from different directions.
According to Serhiy Popko, governor of the Ukrainian capital, the air raid alert lasted more than 5 hours.
No damage or casualties were reported.
