Russian drone torches building in Kyiv

The overnight Russian drone attack on Kyiv sparked two fires in the capital’s Solomyanskyi district, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram on Jan. 12.
One of the enemy drones hit and set ablaze a non-residential building.
The shockwave from the downed drone shattered windows and started a fire in an apartment building in the same district.
Both fires have since been extinguished.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 156 Shahed, Gerbera and as other types of attack drones on Ukraine overnight. As of 8:00 a.m., 135 enemy drones had been shot down or electronically suppressed by Ukrainian air defenses.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
