Russian military reportedly 'misplaces' two FAB-250 bombs that landed in Belgorod Oblast settlements

Russian army aircraft “lost” two FAB-250 bombs in Belgorod Oblast, the Russian Telegram news channel Astra reported on Jan. 29.
The bombs allegedly fell and did not detonate, and the Russian military managed to defuse them.
The incident occurred on Jan. 27. The first unexploded FAB-250 bomb was found in the hamlet of Postnikov, Korocha district. The local authorities decided not to evacuate the settlement, Astra wrote.
The second unexploded FAB-250 was found on a street in the village of Streletskoye, Belgorod district. In this case, the local authorities decided to evacuate approximately 150 residents living within 500 meters of the bomb's impact site.
There were no reported casualties in either case.
The governor of Russia’s Voronezh Oblast, Alexander Gusev, said that four people were injured in the village of Petropavlivka when a missile fired by the Russians during the massive attack on Ukraine on Jan. 1 fell on the settlement.
In a separate incident a Russian warplane dropped a FAB-250 aircraft bomb on the temporarily occupied town of Rubizhne, Luhansk Oblast on Jan. 8. The Russian authorities called the incident an "abnormal descent".
The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, Artem Lysohor, said that the bomb was dropped over the part of the city that had survived the fighting in 2022.
