Russian forces attacking in three areas of the front, General Staff reports

Russian invasion forces are conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka areas of the front line in the east of the country, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported on Nov. 7.
Ukrainian army units repelled the attacks of the enemy in the areas of Yampil, Andriyivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pavlivka, Vodyane, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast over the past 24 hours.
Ukraine’s air force carried out 22 air strikes over the past day. Twenty areas of concentration of troops, weapons and military equipment, as well as two air defense positions, were hit.
Ukrainian air defense units shot down five enemy UAVs.
Over the past day, the Ukrainian missile forces and artillery hit two command posts, eight areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot, a radio-electronic warfare station, and other important military objects.
According to the latest data from the General Staff, the losses of the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion on Feb. 24 amount to almost 76,000 people.
