Russian invaders continue offensive operations in five areas, says General Staff

Invading Russian forces are continuing offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Novopavlivka areas, but are suffering significant losses, especially in manpower, Ukraine’s General Staff said in a Facebook update on Feb. 13.
According to the Ukrainian military, over the past day Ukrainian forces repelled enemy attacks near Hrianykivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Kreminna and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; Vyimka, Fedorivka, Vasiukivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk Oblast; and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhya Oblast,

- No significant changes, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups were observed in the Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Slobozhanske areas in the north. Enemy shelling was recorded near 18 settlements, including Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Basivka and Popivka in Sumy Oblast, and in Chervone, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast;
- In the Kupyansk and Lyman areas in the east, the enemy used mortars and artillery to attack 22 settlements, such as Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Pishchane, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast, and Novoselivske, Makiyivka, Nevske, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast;
- In the Bakhmut area in Donetsk Oblast, the invaders shelled 16 settlements, including Spirne, Vasiukivka, Ivano-Daryivka, Paraskoviyivka, Zaliznianske, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Stupochky, and Klishchiyivka with tanks, mortars, and artillery;
- In the Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka areas of Donetsk Oblast, 25 settlements, including Tonenke, Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske, Zolota Nyva, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Prechystivka, and Bohoiavlenka came under tank, mortar, and artillery shelling;
- In the Zaporizhzhya area in the south, Vremivka and Novopillia in Donetsk Oblast; Huliaipole, Stepove, Olhivske, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk, and Charivne in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, as well as Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were shelled by the Russians;
- In the Kherson area in the south, the city of Kherson, as well as 20 settlements, including Mylove, Zmiyivka, Respublikanets, Novokairy, Vesele, Mykilske, Antonivka, and Dniprovske in Kherson Oblast came under artillery fire.
