Russian invaders drop FAB-500 bomb on Kharkiv, mayor reports impact

According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Russian forces targeted the city with a guided aerial bomb on the night of Sept. 14. The strike hit the Kholodnohirskyi District.

Terekhov shared this information on Telegram, stating, “Strike with a KAB on Kharkiv. Preliminary information indicates the impact was in the Kholodnohirskyi District. Information regarding casualties and damage is being clarified.”

At 09:43 a.m., Terekhov reported that the Russians used an FAB-500 bomb on Kharkiv, with impacts noted near garages and construction sites, but no casualties or significant damage were reported.

Updated at 06:07 a.m.: The bomb hit a garage cooperative. There were no casualties, the mayor confirmed.

Previously, the Air Forces reported tactical aviation activity in the northeast, indicating a threat of using aerial weapons against front-line oblasts.
