Russian invaders hit infrastructure facilities in Odesa Oblast, says City Council

Infrastructure facilities in Odesa Oblast were damaged by a Russian airstrike from the sea late on April 7, Odesa City Council reported via the Telegram messenger with reference to the South Operational Command.

The Ukrainian military added the details about the damage were being established.

Local news outlet Dumskaya, citing its own sources, also reported that the air defense forces had shot down a cruise missile.

The speaker of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, in turn thanked the air defense forces for their excellent work, as well as the residents of the region for their responsible behavior.

The Command reiterated that it is forbidden to publish footage from the scene, or disclose the circumstances or geographic location of the airstrike.
