Russia shells Zaporizhzhya at night, infrastructural damage reported
Zaporizhzhya was targeted by Russian invasion forces during the night, resulting in damage to an infrastructure facility and injuries to an individual, Zaporizhzhya City Council Secretary Anatoliy Kurtev said on Telegram on July 16.
“Tonight, the enemy once again attacked Zaporizhzhya. Unfortunately, one person has been injured,” he said.
Currently, there is a partial power outage in one district of Zaporizhzhya. Emergency services are working to restore the power supply.
Furthermore, an infrastructure facility suffered damage, leading to shattered windows in nearby buildings due to the blast wave.
In the early hours of July 15, Russian drones launched two attacks on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhya, resulting in injuries to a man.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
