Russia loses over 33k troops and nearly 60 air defense systems in June — Ukrainian General Staff
In June, the Russians lost a record number of personnel, tanks, armored combat vehicles, and automotive equipment, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Telegram on June 30.
In the first month of summer, Russia lost:
- 33,713 soldiers
- 352 tanks
- 589 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs)
- 1,393 artillery systems
- 22 units of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 58 air defense systems
- 3 aircraft
- 997 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
- 1,758 units of automotive equipment
- 284 units of special equipment
