Russia launched a combined missile attack on Ukraine on July 8, targeting the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital.

Ukrainian photographers Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov shared the aftermath of the Russian strike on the new building of the medical institution in an Instagram post.

"Okhmatdyt. A direct hit by a Russian missile on the largest children's hospital in Ukraine," the post’s caption reads.

“Children and doctors are under the rubble. Today is the Day of Family, Love and Loyalty in Russia.”

As of 1:20 p.m., ten people are dead and 35 are injured in Kyiv as a result of the attack by the terrorist state.

Patients of the children's hospital, which was hit by a Russian missile, were evacuated to municipal hospitals, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said.

The Russian attack on Okhmatdyt hit the building where children were receiving dialysis, Health Minister Viktor Lyashko said.

Kyiv residents were also urged to bring water and snacks for children and people who are clearing the rubble at Okhmatdyt. Kyiv City Council member Yevheniya Kuleba noted that there are currently enough volunteers at the site to clear the rubble, so more people are not needed.
