Russian missiles hit Mykolayiv infrastructure building
Russian forces launched a missile attack on the southern city of Mykolayiv overnight on July 10, regional governor Vitaliy Kim reported on his channel on the Telegram messenger.
The Russians struck the city with a ballistic missile at about 1 a.m., hitting an infrastructure facility.
According to preliminary reports the Russians used an Iskander-M missile – a highly-accurate short-range ballistic missile that can carry a high-explosive warhead weighing up to 800 kilograms.
Mykolayiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported the area where the missile impacted was being inspected. No damage to residential buildings or casualties has been reported.
Russia regularly attacks civilian infrastructure in the oblasts or regions close to the front line, or regions bordering Russia itself, with missiles, aerial bombs and artillery, frequently causing civilian casualties.
