The Svoboda Rossii movement carried out a series of successful strikes on enemy logistical infrastructure, Ukraine’s military intelligence reported on Nov. 6.

According to reports, the strikes targeted locomotives used by Russian forces to deliver weapons, ammunition, and equipment to the battlefield in the war against Ukraine.

“Partisans’ Molotov cocktails incinerated control and power systems on dozens of vehicles transporting military cargo,” the description of a video stated.

Ukrainian intelligence emphasized that the attacks significantly slowed the movement of enemy resources and affected the supply of Russian army units on the front lines.

“Resistance to the criminal war against Ukraine inside the aggressor state is intensifying!” the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) said.

According to Ukrainian intelligence officers, the Svoboda Rossii (Freedom of Russia) movement is currently one of the largest and most effective resistance movements within Russian territory.

On Oct. 30, HUR reported that partisans in Russia were destroying enemy communication systems. Cellular towers and communications equipment of local mobile operators were reportedly set ablaze “from Rostov to Kamchatka.”

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
