Russian drone kills one at Sumy Easter cake bakery

One person was killed and another injured in a Russian Shahed drone attack on a civilian infrastructure facility in Sumy, the city’s Military Administration reported on Telegram early on April 18.

According to regional Governor Mykhailo Melnyk, the enemy targeted a confectionery where Easter cakes were being baked. A customer was killed and an employee was wounded.

The enemy carried out the attack at 5 a.m. EET.

Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack are ongoing.

The same morning, at least one person was killed and 54 others, including a child, were injured in a barbaric morning Russian missile attack on a densely populated area of another Ukrainian administrative center, Kharkiv.
