Four injured as Russia causes significant damage to critical infrastructure in overnight strike on Kharkiv
At least four people were injured and critical infrastructure sustained significant damage after Russia attacked Kharkiv overnight on May 30, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
Two were injured by shrapnel, while another suffered an acute stress reaction, he said.
"There is a fire at the impact site, a gas pipeline has been severed, and surrounding buildings have been damaged—many windows have been shattered," Terekhov said.
"A door-to-door inspection will take place in the morning to gather more details."
The attack caused extensive damage, including shattered windows in residential buildings and a fire at a gas infrastructure facility.
Emergency services and volunteers are working at the scene, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head, Oleh Synehubov, reported.
