The invading forces of the Russian Federation are suffering enormous losses on the Kharkiv axis and are already refusing to go on the offensive, according to the excerpt from an intercepted telephone conversation be-tween a Russian soldier and their family members, shared by Ukraine’s SBU security service.
The soldier, likely belonging to a military formation by a puppet authority, is heard telling his mother that he’s personally seen the results of these attacks, and has seen other soldiers refuse their order..
"Our mission is to survive, you see?” says the alleged soldier.
"I can't express how unnerving this all is... Well, our number is up, to say the least... At first, they just threw our lot forward. From another company. They were brought back dead. They just jumped into the [armored car] and went to ‘mop up’ a village. And there are always [Ukrainians] there waiting and firing at them. Today, people began to refuse. The Russians refused, ours refused, but some Luhansk people did set off.”
