Russian drones strike infrastructure target in western Ukraine

Russia attacked an infrastructure facility in Lviv Oblast with three drones in an overnight attack, Lviv regional governor Maksym Kozytsky reported on Telegram on Dec. 5.

The strike caused a fire, which was promptly extinguished by employees. Minor damage was reported.

There were no casualties or injuries, nor was there damage to Lviv’s critical infrastructure.

An air alert was declared in a number of regions across Ukraine on the evening of Dec. 4 and in the early hours of Dec. 5.

A total of 17 Shahed drones and six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles were spotted, the Ukrainian Air Force reported. Air defense destroyed 10 Shaheds in different regions of Ukraine.
