The Russian military are reportedly laying mines in critical infrastructure facilities in the occupied city of Kherson, local journalist Kostiantyn Ryzhenko said on Telegram on Nov. 6.

“I've been told by a very reliable source about mines planted in the city and critical infrastructure. According to his observations, all crossing points of the railway track crossing the city have been mined,” Ryzhenko said.

“We have analyzed the recorded cases of mined facilities and we assume that, most likely, the enemy plans to create an obstacle to the advancement of the Armed Forces along this line,” he added.
