Invading Russian forces have shelled the northern city of Chernihiv with Grad multiple rocket launcher systems, Chernihiv Governor Viacheslav Chaus reported on the Telegram messenger service on March 1.

“Attention! About an hour ago, the occupiers shelled with Grads the Masany district and Myru Avenue on the outskirts of Chernihiv toward (the village of) Ripky,” Chaus wrote.

He said the rescuers were working on the scene.

“A request to all: do not interfere with their work and do not touch the shells,” he added.
