Russian forces strike yet another school in Kherson as artillery bombardment goes on
Russian occupation forces have shelled a school in Kherson, damaging the building, Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported on Nov. 22.
A video of the consequences of the Russian attack on the school was also published. The school principal said that the hit was on the school's sports ground.
"All the windows facing the schoolyard were smashed," she said.
“The new building was damaged; in the old building, the windows were smashed. The roof of the old building was damaged. And in the dining room, windows are smashed everywhere. The football field was completely destroyed.”
The Russian military has already destroyed 106 educational institutions in the Kherson community. Some of them were completely ruined, Mrochko clarified.
As a result of today's shelling of Kherson city center by Russian occupation forces, another school was damaged.
Russian troops shell Kherson and the region almost daily, killing civilians and destroying the region's infrastructure.
