Sabotage group exposed in Odesa region opens fire, wounding border guards
Ukrainian border guards, police officers, and territorial defense members have captured an enemy subversion and reconnaissance group in the town of Rozdilna, Odesa region.
“Ukrainian defenders noticed a suspicious group of people in a Volkswagen van and attempted to inspect them,” the State Border Service said. “During the inspection, (people in) another vehicle, a Mitsubishi L-200 SUV, opened fire on border guards, police officers, and territorial defense members. The joint group returned the fire on saboteurs, causing the SUV to flee,” the service reported.

In the van, police officers found multiple weapons, including machine guns, grenade launchers, ammunition, mines, and explosives. One of the saboteurs was detained. He is currently being identified. The border guards also confirmed there were several wounded among the Ukrainian defenders.
