Ukraine’s SBU Security Service and National Police detained six Russian agents who, on orders from Russia, carried out arson attacks on Ukrainian military vehicles, Ukrainian Railways energy facilities, and post offices in various regions of Ukraine, according to an SBU statement on Telegram on July 10.

In Kyiv Oblast, a 33-year-old displaced person from Luhansk Oblast was arrested for setting fire to Ukrainian military vehicles.

In Zakarpattya Oblast, law enforcement detained a 22-year-old from Tiachiv district who set fire to a post office and caused a blaze at a local Ukrainian Railways relay cabinet, the SBU stated.

In Odesa, a 13-year-old schoolgirl and her mother were exposed for burning a Ukrainian Railways relay cabinet and an Armed Forces evacuation vehicle.

Russian special services recruited all suspects via the Telegram messenger. During searches, authorities seized components for making flammable mixtures, as well as clothing and phones containing evidence of the crimes. The suspects face charges under four articles of Ukraine’s Criminal Code for sabotage and terrorism, with potential life imprisonment.

The issue of holding the minor suspect from Odesa accountable is under consideration, the SBU added.
