SBU drones attack oil depots in Russia, sparking large-scale fires
Ukraine’s SBU Security Service attacked an oil depot near the village of Pavlovskaya, Krasnodar Krai, Russia, with drones in the early hours of July 6.
Russian emergency services spent the entire day extinguishing a large-scale fire, informed sources told NV.
The source reported that after two explosions, a massive fire broke out in two tanks containing oil products.
Additionally, SBU drones caused a series of explosions at the Rosneft-Kubannefteprodukt oil depot in the village of Leningradskaya, Russia. Satellite images show at least three fuel tanks were damaged.
"The SBU will continue to impose drone economic sanctions against facilities that provide fuel to Russian troops in Ukraine," the source said. “The rules are simple: if you work for the MIC [military-industrial complex], expect an explosive 'cotton pop.'”
The SBU also reported a drone attack on July 7 on a field ammunition depot near the village of Sergeyevka, Voronezh Oblast. According to NV sources, the Russians stored surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missiles, tank and artillery shells, and boxes of ammunition for firearms over an area of 9,000 square meters.
