SBU has discovered over 300 traitors during wartime – SBU head
Ukraine's SBU Security Service has exposed over 300 traitors since Russia's full-scale invasion began, SBU head Vasyl Malyuk said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine on April 21.
"We have exposed more than 300 traitors since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Of these, 9 were in the SBU and 102 in the defence forces in general," he said.
As an example, Malyuk pointed to the detention of the former commander the Ukrainian Army’s special operations center in Ochakiv.
Acting as a Russian agent, he planned to facilitate the surrender of the city to the occupiers.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
