Earthquakes shakes Ukraine’s Chernivtsi Oblast again
An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Ukraine’s western Chernivtsi Oblast in the morning, the Main Center for Special Control reported on July 29.
The quake hit near the villages of Voloka and Hrushevka at around 5:00 a.m. EET. It occurred at a depth of two kilometers.
It was classified as barely perceptible.
This is the second earthquake registered in Chernivtsi Oblast in July. The previous one hit near the village of Konyatyn in the Vyzhnytsia district on July 13. It had a magnitude of 2.6 and occurred at a depth of three kilometers.
