Ukrainian air defense takes out 22 Shaheds out of 27 during the night
Air defense managed to eliminate 22 of 27 Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones launched by Russia from Kursk and temporarily occupied Crimea overnight on June 5, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported on Telegram.
Anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW), and mobile fire groups shot down Russian drones in Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Poltava oblasts.
The Air Force warned about the drone attack threat in most Ukrainian oblasts - in the country's east, south, and north.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
