Poltava Oblast experiences overnight earthquake
A small earthquake was recorded in the Reshetylivka district of Poltava Oblast overnight on March 1, the Main Center of Special Monitoring, Ukraine’s national geophysical monitoring center, reported.
The earthquake measured 3.6 on the Richter scale, indicating it could be felt in nearby communities, though was unlikely to cause much damage.
The earthquake's epicenter was located west of Poltava city at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The tremors were recorded at 2:22 a.m. local time.
