Switzerland deports three Ukrainians

Switzerland has deported three Ukrainian citizens on Oct. 30. They departed from Zurich under the supervision of cantonal police officers.

Initially, they will be transported to Poland and, from there, taken to Ukraine by land, according to a report by Swiss outlet NZZ.

This marks the first deportation of Ukrainian national from Switzerland since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.

According to the report, those deported likely committed serious crimes, as such measures are not applied for minor offenses. Details regarding their crimes are not disclosed to protect personal data and identities.
