Four of the six representatives from the International Atomic Energy Agency inspection team have completed their work at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant and left the plant site on Sept. 5, Ukraine’s nuclear operator Energoatom reported on Telegram messenger on Sept. 5.
It is expected that two experts will continue to work at the ZNPP on a permanent basis.
The IAEA delegation, initially consisting of 14 experts, arrived at the Zaporizhzhia NPP in the temporarily occupied town of Enerhodar on Sept. 1. Specialists led by Director General Rafael Grossi spent several hours at the facility. A few representatives of the mission then remained at the station.
The Director General of the IAEA stated that the delegation will establish a permanent presence at the ZNPP.
