Third Assault Brigade reports successful offensive in Kharkiv Oblast — video
Troops of the Third Separate Assault Brigade conducted successful offensive operations in their area of responsibility in Kharkiv Oblast, according to deputy commander Maksym Zhorin on Aug. 22.
He stated that details of the operation will be announced later, adding that "successful offensive actions were carried out by our Third Assault Division in Kharkiv Oblast."
Footage shows multiple strikes on Russian forces and what appears to be the capture of enemy positions by Ukrainian troops.
On Aug. 21, Kharkiv Technical University reported that Russian forces in Vovchansk had increased reconnaissance efforts and were preparing for an assault.
