Russian strike on Kharkiv outskirts kills 3, wounds 20

Russian forces struck the outskirts of Kharkiv on July 19, killing three people and injuring at least 20, regional military governor Oleh Synehubov reported on Telegram.
A postal terminal in the suburbs was attacked.
Three people were killed—men aged 24, 45, and 62. Another 20 people were injured to varying degrees, and three of the injured are in critical condition.
Nine people were hospitalized, three of them in serious condition, the official said. He had earlier reported 13 injured and three killed in the attack on Kharkiv's outskirts, with the toll later revised upward.
On the evening of July 17, Russian forces struck Kharkiv's Shevchenkivskyi district. The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office said preliminary information indicated Russia struck Kharkiv with an S8000 Banderol missile. A 28-year-old man died while inside a vehicle. His 22-year-old wife and 2-year-old son suffered acute stress reactions. Six other people were injured, including a 7-year-old boy.
Overnight into July 19, Russia also carried out its most massive ballistic missile strike on Kyiv during the full-scale war. According to the Air Force, radar units tracked 166 aerial weapons overnight — 41 missiles and 125 drones of various types:
- 10 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles
- 25 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles
- Three Oniks anti-ship missiles
- Three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles
- 125 Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas attack drones, along with Parodiya decoy drones and Banderol loitering munitions
Kyiv was the primary target of the attack. As of 8:30 a.m., air defenses shot down or suppressed 126 targets — 18 missiles and 108 drones.
