Three people injured, one missing after fresh Russian strike on Odesa Oblast
Three people were injured and another one is considered missing after Russia launched a missile attack on Odesa Oblast overnight on May 8, the regional district military administration reported on Telegram.
As of early May 8, local rescue teams had extinguished a fire caused by a Kh-22 anti-ship missile hitting a food warehouse in the oblast’s Odesa District.
According to the military administration, three warehouse workers received minor injuries and were provided with medical assistance at the scene.
At the same time, one person is considered missing. Rescue work continues.
Kyiv air defenses detected and intercepted 35 Iranian-made Shahed suicide drones launched at Kyiv by Russia from various directions overnight. Five people were injured and there was damage to buildings in the west of the capital from falling debris from the shoot-downs.
The runaway at Kyiv Zhuliany international airport in the west of the capital was also damaged by falling debris.
The air raid alert lasted more than three-and-a-half hours.
