US came up with a comprehensive 22-point framework plan for peace in Ukraine, President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy Keith Kellogg wrote on X on May 18.

“In Istanbul State Secretary (Marco) Rubio made it clear that we have presented ‘a strong peace plan’” after the London meetings, he said.

“The first point is a comprehensive ceasefire that stops the killing now.”

On May 16, Ukrainian top officials held a key meeting in Istanbul with national security advisors from France, Germany, the UK, and Kellogg ahead of talks between Ukrainian and Russian delegations.

On May 19, Trump is expected to call both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an attempt to negotiate a ceasefire.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
