Two people dead, three hospitalized after Russian attack on Kyiv

Two people have been killed after an artillery shell hit a residential building in the Obolon district of the capital city of Kyiv, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported on its Telegram messenger channel on March 14.

According to the rescue agency, three more people were hospitalized and another nine were provided with medical assistance at the scene.

In total, 15 people were rescued and 63 were evacuated from the damaged building, located on 20 Bohatyrska Str.

Searches for those who may have stayed in the building are underway.

Firefighters have already put out the fire caused by the shell’s impact.

Meanwhile, the rescuers have posted the footage of damaged building, showcasing the consequences of enemy shelling.

The agency notes that the staircase from the 1st to the 3rd floors, and the building's facade from the 1st to the 9th floors have been partially destroyed. The fire broke out in the apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors.
