Ukrainian forces are now deploying new interceptor UAVs to counter

announced on Sept. 7.
“One of [the] latest [Russian] developments is the Banderol missile-drone, which Russia has been using to terrorize Ukrainian cities,” the statement said.
“Now, Ukraine has a new technological answer. A product developed by a Brave1 participant is already destroying Banderols, with the cost of interception being significantly lower than the price of the missile-drone.”
“Currently, there are several products capable of countering Banderols.”
According to Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat, Russia launched five times as many jet-powered drones at Ukraine in July as it did in June.
On Sept. 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the
government to focus on scaling production of high-speed interceptors effective
against jet-powered drones. Zelenskyy said Ukrainian manufacturers had already
developed prototypes and were working to make the weapons as effective as
possible.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
