Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight, regional Governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram early on Sep. 5.

An industrial enterprise in the administrative center of Dnipro was targeted and caught fire.

Emergency efforts are underway.

There was also an FPV drone strike on Pokrovsk in the Nikopol district.

“There were no casualties,” Lysak said, adding that a total of 15 enemy drones were shot down over the oblast overnight.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
