As they transition to counteroffensive operations, Ukraine’s Armed Forces have liberated several towns and villages along the path towards the village of Mala Rohan near Kharkiv, head of the regional administration Oleh Synehubov said on March 26.
According to a message from Synehubov posted on Telegram, the area remains contested, with Ukrainian forces holding their ground around the town of Izyum.
Russian forces have been unable to take the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, but have subjected it to constant shelling and air raids.
