Ukraine’s intel has unleashed a flotilla of FPV kamikaze drones designed to destroy enemy equipment, as demonstrated in a video released by HUR on May 2.
The footage shows a successful attack on enemy equipment.
"Today we can already observe the results of our pilots' work," the military intelligence said.
“We are destroying the occupiers and liberating our country from the invaders.”
In January, the HUR’s Kryla (“Wings”) special unit announced the creation of its own "flotilla". They began raising funds to purchase 1,000 FPV (First Person View) drones for the new strike group.
This type of UAV can be used for both intelligence gathering and as a sniper weapon from a distance of up to 10 kilometers. The drones are equipped with cameras and advanced communications systems.
