‘Slowing the production of Russian weapons’ – Ukraine’s spy chief outlines Ukraine’s primary targets inside Russia
Shedding light on the meticulous and methodical approach of Ukrainian forces in the ongoing war,Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) Head Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov explained to NV the focus of drone strikes on Russian military-industrial complexes as well as primary objectives and targets
A primary target of Ukrainian drones are enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC) involved in missile production. About one-third are located in European Russia, which makes them accessible targets for Ukrainian drones.
Budanov mentioned the recently targeted Gruppa Kremniy El, a major microelectronics factory in Bryansk and one of the largest microelectronics factories in Russia, as well as the Redkinsky Research Plant in Tver Oblast, which produces Decilin aviation fuel for Russian forces.
If you look at all the Russian facilities "subjected to some unknown influence," you can see a pattern: they all work for the Russian MIC.
"When we work out certain actions on defense industry facilities, we aim at only one thing: to slowdown the production of Russian weapons," Budanov said.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
